Human Rights Week

This is my first illustration project that had its purpose outside the art classroom. My senior year, our campus sponsored its first ever Human Rights Week, and I created two illustrations for promotional use. One, done in cut paper collage, was printed on posters, nametags, and more during the 2004 HRW. The second, done in my traditional pastel, has been used each year since on posters and other promotional materials (including the event website.)

A Wrinkle in Time

With apologies to Madeleine L'Engle, I took a stab at illustrating a cover for her Newbery winner.
